About SOFAD

The site for The Transmission of Hereditary Characteristics course is provided by SOFAD (Société de formation à distance des commissions scolaires du Québec).

SOFAD is a not-or-profit organization that produces materials to facilitate independent learning. Some of its products, designed with the financial support of the Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport, are used by school boards for adult general education and vocational training provided in in schools or in a distance learning context.

From designing learning tools to drawing up customized training plans, SOFAD provides services that meet the requirements of its clients and partners. Its mastery of new technologies and a wide variety of media guarantees high-quality, accessible products and services that are adapted to the needs of its different client groups.
